incCOMMUNICATIONS™ Services, Inc. (iCS) is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support business and technology initiatives involving financial and operational analysis, enterprise reporting, systems support, data analysis, requirements development, testing, and process improvement.

This position serves as a link between business stakeholders and technical teams. The Business Analyst will evaluate business needs, examine processes and data, document requirements, support system and reporting initiatives, and help develop practical solutions that improve accuracy, efficiency, and operational performance.

The successful candidate should be comfortable working across finance, accounting, operations, information technology, reporting, testing, and other business functions in a complex organizational environment.

What you will do

Key responsibilities

    Gather, analyze, validate, and document business, functional, data, and reporting requirements.

    Partner with business stakeholders, finance and accounting teams, operations personnel, subject-matter experts, and IT teams to define needs and develop appropriate functional solutions.

  3. 03

    Produce business requirements documents, functional specifications, use cases, process flows, workflow documentation, business rules, data mappings, and acceptance criteria.

  4. 04

    Evaluate current business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, dependencies, and opportunities for improved future-state workflows.

  5. 05

    Conduct transactional, operational, and financial data analysis to uncover trends, discrepancies, exceptions, and underlying causes.

  6. 06

    Investigate cross-system issues through analysis of business rules, system dependencies, reports, reconciliations, and upstream and downstream processes.

  7. 07

    Convert business needs into functional requirements and clearly defined work items for technical, reporting, and testing teams.

  8. 08

    Support system enhancements and implementations through requirements clarification, solution review, testing, user acceptance testing, defect tracking, and business validation.

  9. 09

    Develop management reports, dashboards, analytical models, reconciliation tools, exception trackers, and key performance indicators.

    Facilitate stakeholder meetings, record decisions and action items, communicate project developments, and coordinate the resolution of business and system issues.

    Prepare user documentation, standard operating procedures, training materials, and knowledge-transfer resources.

  12. 12

    Identify opportunities to automate or improve reporting, reconciliation, allocation, validation, and data-analysis activities to reduce manual effort and strengthen accuracy.

    Assist with internal controls, audit requirements, data validation, and adherence to established business policies and procedures.

What you bring

Qualifications & experience

  1. 01

    Eight or more years of professional experience encompassing business analysis and related financial, operational, reporting, systems, data-analysis, testing, or process-improvement functions.

    Strong ability to analyze complex business problems and organize findings into clear, usable documentation.

  3. 03

    Demonstrated experience working with both business and technical stakeholders on cross-functional initiatives.

  4. 04

    Practical knowledge of requirements development, process analysis, workflow design, data mapping, and functional documentation.

  5. 05

    Experience analyzing financial, operational, transactional, and enterprise reporting data.

  6. 06

    Background supporting systems, system enhancements, implementations, or other technology-enabled business initiatives.

  7. 07

    Experience with testing methodologies, user acceptance testing, defect management, and business validation.

  8. 08

    Ability to develop and interpret management reporting, dashboards, analytical models, reconciliations, exception reporting, and performance metrics.

  9. 09

    Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings, document decisions, coordinate action items, and communicate effectively across teams.

    Experience developing procedural documentation, training materials, and other resources used to support business operations and knowledge transfer.

  11. 11

    Understanding of internal controls, audit support, data integrity, and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

  • Experience within telecommunications, enterprise technology, financial or operational services, insurance technology, or other large-scale corporate environments is beneficial.
  • Experience working in organizations where business operations, financial information, enterprise systems, and reporting functions are closely interconnected is particularly relevant.
